Dash lights

Hi guys i have a strange problem and i wonder if anyone else has had it,

Two weeks ago i had my front and rear pads changed on my 09 320d saloon and the warning lights re-set since then i sometimes get the all the warning lights on the dash light and the "bong" then go back out. When this happens it does not cause any problems, sometimes the service light with the milage and date settings appears but again no other problems.
The garage reckons a loose connection somewhere but i think it is a bit of a coincidence it appeared after the pads and sensors were changed. Do you think a faulty sensor could cause this ?, the service menu shows that both sets of pads are fine and there are no error codes.
Thanks in advance
