Cobb stage 2

My mods are: RPI scoops, drop-In filter, AR catless downpipes, HPF gen 2 exhaust, and of course the Cobb accessport.

I just put on the downpipes two days ago, and wow the sound is amazing and super loud which I love. And it pulls pretty nicely too.

I did the timer on my AP last night and my best was a 4.2 0-60 and 12.609 in the quarter mile. I'm AT by the way. 2nd gear launch.
I'm on pretty bald 255 PSS's in the rear.
When I try to launch from M2 and I step all the way down past the button, it puts me in first gear. So I have to step all the way down except for the button as fast as I can because I'm on a linear throttle map.
I'm not sure how accurate the cobb timer is, but any suggestions on how to improve my 60' time, without brake boosting? I just spin when I do that. I'd like to get like a 12.4 with these mods if that's possible.

Just practice your launch. The quickest way to launch is by brake boosting at around 2,500 RPMs. Your tires certainly aren't helping. you are probably in the 340-360 hp range with your mods.

Tires are definitely going to play the biggest roll in getting better times.

340-360 at the wheels or crank? Wheels I'm hoping. Because I'm basically FBO without the intercooler. And aren't tune only +e85 cars without any other parts like 400whp?

Not sure about tune only+E30/40 (stock fueling i'm assuming)=400whp. But 340-360 at the wheels sounds about right for Stg2 aggressive, depending on dyno of course.

My 08 135i put down 339 on Stage 2 Agressive on Cobb's Mustang Dyno. Stage 2 is a very small bump in power over Stage 1.
