Cobb+meth???

Hey guys as far as i know cobb hasn't got meth maps? The only maps i found is e30 beta maps. So can anyone advice me which way to go if i want meth?
And what is the difference between e30 maps and meth maps?

Your best bet for a meth map is to take the race map and pull 3-4 degrees of timing out and see what the logs look like. Then start putting some timing back in if you can.

My opinion is that they don't do meth maps because meth is too unreliable for their quality standards. I did a meth map from their race map and I couldn't obtain consistent and clean timing at all times on all cylinders. If you keep lowering timing to be 100% consistent you will just come back to the 93 octane timing levels. Yes you can get away with it for some pulls at the drag strip but I think that Cobb prefers to pass the responsibility of using meth onto the customer and onto the pro tuners.

Just to be fbo and that's it?
May be race gas?

With an HFS-4 we can deliver maps that make far more power and have much stronger timing curves when compared to the OTS Stage 2+ maps. The only meth kit we really advise our customers look at using is the HFS-4 as it allows the system to integrate into the factory dme for the mapping of flow as well as the safe guard of opening the wastegates to eliminate boost in the case of a meth flow failure. Other kits just aren't up to the standard we would like to see.

E30 maps require you to have an ethanol concentration of 30% which you achieve by mixing pump and e85. They require 93 so if you don;t have that , bump the E85 content to compensate.

meth works great but isn't as consistent obviously as ethanol which is directly injected into the cylinders.

go with an HFS4 kit and hit up PTF.

or use ATR to increase the timing from a stage2+ agg map

Another popular option is to run a JB4/COBB Combo where the JB4 acts as the meth controller and adds boost appropriately as it senses meth flow. A few people run this and are happy with the results.

The HSF-4 Kit is a good option as well.

As i have understood, to go with e30 maps, i just need to fill in the tank with 93 pump and e85 directly to the fuel tank, so i don't need Hfs4????

that is correct. E30 map requires FBO and 30 ethanol with 93 pump.

Hi Jake thnks for your answer. As far as i got you can tune my car individually if i buy HFS-4 meth kit. I just don't understand how it work we are very far from each other. Will you make it the same way as i get maps from cobb???

The process is just like any etune. Client sends datalogs to tuner, tuner provides revised maps, rinse and repeat.
