Two different FM stations went to static, my car or my area?

Today when pulling into the driveway I was listening to 92.3 and it cut out to static by the time I pulled all the way in. Any other channel seemed to work fine. Later when I was leaving another place, the same thing happened, think I was listening to 103.5, it went to static, i changed to another channel and it seemed fine and crystal clear. A minute later I went back to 103.5 and it was working fine. Is this my car or maybe just something funky happening in the airwaves in my area? It seemed to literally be only static, not even a hint of the radio, switch to another station and its perfect.

welcome to the BMW crap antenna department.. its your car.. combined with your area..
you should see what happens when you press the rear windshield defogger.. hehe..
ADVICE: just leave it be.. there is no solution for this antenna issue.. as it is built in the the rear windshield
see the attached photo to understand what i mean
have a nice day

well try to choose a weak fm or am station.. and press the defogger...
if the station still sounds the same.. then ur one of the lucky one with a good antenna..
if its just thoe 2 stations.. i wouldt worry about it..
i have the defogger issue.. and i learned to live with it..
although im still looking thru the forums for an external mini antenna fix.. or thru the GPS shark fin.. since im in the middle east and dont have maps for CCC here..

Thanks for the advice, its never happened before, and those stations came back fine so I'm gonna just call it an odd glitch.
