New to BMW with an e93

Hi everyone-
I thought I'd drop in and see how things are here.
I just picked up an 07 e93 335 and I'm having fun with it.

I was wanting a convertible (had a B8 S4) and found a great deal on this low mile local certified cab, so I picked it up. I'm usually on an 18-24 month schedule with cars, but this was a bit backwards for me - I've had 8 audis in the last 12 years and this is my first BMW - excited to have something different.

Looking forward to some small exterior mods;

window tint 35% - almost done tonight
OEM 220M wheels with Conti DWS (wheels in garage - tires on order)
I polished up these 40K old wheels from CL and cleaned up some minor rash. going with 235/35F & 265/30R on the rubber.
thinking about a lip or M-sport bumper
maybe some springs - the front has a bit of gap...
did the golf-tee mod already.
and of course, a strong detail. I'll be looking forward to a few weekends of work

I look forward to being as active here as time permits and getting together for some meets soon.
No jokes about the old man color (i'm trying to fly under the radar).
I'll update with some new pics and my experience with installing the 220M's - I've heard they can be a bit tight. And, I'll be selling my 189's with tires & TPMS, so I'll be checking out the classifieds to see about what to ask.

If anyone's got any advice or things to know about this e93 for me being new to BMW, shout it out. I look forward to your input.

Here are a few pics from the dealer...

Congrats on your new BMW!

Golf tee mod on an automatic?

A few ideas;

Swap M3 Paddles to replace the Steptronic paddle shifters. Crisper shifts, better looks and correct left/right function, rather than push/pull

Euro headlight switch, which gives you rear fog (car is prewired only needs switch)

Swap the halogen angel-eye bulbs for LED's (Lux angle eyes seem brightest to my eyes)

I knew someone would bring this up
yeah, I just wanted a convertible again and I was only putting 5-600 miles on a month.
I love the S4, but in the end it wasnt worth it to me.

Thanks for the kind words: "Low key"
I was expecting someone to correct me and tell me I bought the new solara BC of the Color.
My wife made a joke and said if I was wearing a pink or purple shirt and stepped out of that car people would either think I was a very young looking 60 year old or extremely confident with my masculinity. I prefer the latter.

update:

Installed the wheels & tires - man it's a tight fit. only minor rubbing on the liners. don't really care about the rubbing because I like the look; that being said I'm sure I'll fix the liners soon.

Also got 80% of the tint done (i'm doing this all at night after the kids are in bed) - gotta get that rear window tinted then I'm done.

Tried to disable TPMS with autologic but I need to play with that a bit to get it done... tips/help appreciated as the light is annoying.

Now I need to paint those calipers and clean up the rotor hats - thinking about polishing them instead of painting, we'll see...

Someone mentioned a tune - anyone have the autologic performance tune?
