2008 M3 Steering Wheel and Shift Knob

I was going to put in the steering wheel and shift knob of the 2008 M3 but it looks like that boot is a different shape than ours. Perhaps the knob and the boot are not one piece. Oh well, I can at least have that wheel with the nappa leather.

I may have to settle for perforated M-Sport crap which I don't really like.

I believe you can get this nappa leather steering wheel with tri-color stitches on ebay. A few member hare have ordered it unless I am royally mistaken (which wont be the first time).

Love the wheel; but I'll stick with my M-Tech shift knob.
The M3 knob looks way to tall.

I figured out that the knob only and not the boot is 25117896884. The short version is ZHP knob. Part # 25117896886. This part has a chrome ring and it is a bit shorter than the '08 M knob. Both part numbers are weighted, approx. 5.5oz. compared to the stock one at 3 oz.

The steering wheel from the E46 M3 can be had on Ebay but there is no guarantee that it will fit with my '07 airbag and stuff. Therefore I am going to wait on the '08 M wheel. That Ebay seller take no returns if it doesn't work.

I have the wheel installed already so I would like to match the leather at the shifter and handbrake to the wheel. Thanks for that part #, I'll research further into it.
