There are few a stations in town that sell E85, and they are all in areas I never go to. I've had to drive 10 miles out of my way just to pick it up. I could spike -20 washer fluid with Heat pretty easily, but if it means having an ugly tank taking up space in my trunk, I'd rather not.

Assuming I just run -20 washer fluid, would you still recommend the COBB over the JB4? If so, why?

When I go on the COBB web site, they list the Access Port at $895.

Who sells it for $750?
Jeff @ Top Gear Solutions can give you the best price, I think even better than what I posted. JB is also a good tuning option, but the piggy backs are limited and flash tuning provides you a lot of flexibility to include much, much better logging. I would buy one just to log with if it wasn't for the fact that the piggy backs don't send actual data back to the DME. You'll also find yourself at a point when tuning that the stock DME will need a sub flash to allow for addition fueling due to limitations on the fuel trims. Once you hit that point you'll end up with a COBB or Open Source which isn't out yet to do your base flash changes to support the needs of the piggy back.

I know if I had to do it all over again, I would have spent the extra money and just bought the COBB. ATR wasn't out when I wasn't looking. But as far as I'm concerned that was a real game changer due to the fact you can target and trace log. Makes it much easier to tune your car based on the area you live and the fuel you have available. Not as easy to do with a piggy back.

Personally, I would wait to install meth. Do some research and look at the advantages of PWM over PPS. Aquamist and PROcede use PWM as it has controlled delivery. You can also look at other tank solutions to keep from having a tank visible in the trunk. You have space under the deck of the trunk. You can buy and Advent drop in for big $ or make something... Always options.

If you're not looking to make North of 400 whp, just stick to the COBB tune and forget about spraying. Get a 7" FMIC, DCI, CP and DPs then call it a day... VRSF has really stepped up and at great prices I might add. BMS also makes a good set to DPs and the right price...

You'll have fun regardless of which direction you go. Good luck... Feel free to reach out to me if you need help with anything. Not sure when I'll be back in the QC, but I'll try to keep in touch.
