E92 325i tail light

May I ask if the tail light between 2011+ model and pre 2011 model can be interchange?
Thinking if I can put a 2011+ model OEM tail light to a 2008 model.

(Those aftermarket LED on the market is just too ugly, spoiling the elegance of the 325i coupe....)

Yes, but you will need to code the LED tail lights.
I'm sure there is someone in Perth that can do this.
See Stu from BMR to buy the lights or just check on
the "For Sale" section. You can also try the US "For Sale"
section but you will need to allow for shipping.

It's definately one of the best mods you can do to the e92 to improve the aesthetics imo

May I also ask, I saw one 325i with m sport package, and there is a light under the door handle (outside), is that a mod? Or comes originally? If so, what is this option name so that I can check the vin and to see if the car I want to buy has it?

Sorry for asking a lot but just want to know more before I decide which car to buy as there are quite a lot on the 2nd hand market.

It's OEM, called a courtesy light.

I thought the courtesy light is on the side of the inner door? So, the outer door handles one is OEM as well? May I ask how to change the color ( I saw on somebody car that the light is cool white)?
Couldn't find any video clip on the Internet showing the changing of bulb for that particular area...
