Question Does anybody else make a sub box that...

Does anybody else make a sub box that fits in the spare tire hole for e90 sedan? has anybody made a fiberglass box? I want to add a sub to the trunk but don't want to take up to much space and it seems like a waste of space since I have run flats

BSW makes a sub that fits in the spare tire hole, and MusicarNorthwest has a corner-loaded sub that has received excellent reviews. Fits in the recess above the battery on the right side of the E90 trunk.

Musicar's solutions are plug & play, no cutting, splicing, soldering, etc. Don't know too much about BSW.

Search here, and you'll find enough to keep you reading for hours.

It wouldn't be hard to make a fiberglass box for the storage area, but IMO thats not an ideal spot for a sub. Corner loading is probably the better option, but more expensive.

Corner loaded is the way to go. MusicarNW or WickedCAS.

I don't want to take up space. I have band equipment to haul around. so that's why I was looking just to use the spare tire hole. and fyi, I have read through that a whole thread 100 times....

Look on YouTube and you will find plenty of videos on how to work with fiberglass. You will need to make an mdf front baffle, but it isn't hard.
