iphone docking station on e90 from 2006

I'm currently owning a e90 320d from 2006. I would like to install the iphone docking station as shown in the link http://www.bmw.nl/nl/content/service...ryId=5167.html My dealer from the Netherlands tells me it cannot be done on my car, they advertise it only for the lci-models. However, if I look on youtube I can find an example of a pre-lci version that has fitted the docking station

Did anyone else succeed in installing one?

Thanks for the tip! I'm in Europe so it's easier for me to just buy it over here, looks like it's cheaper as well.
