Interesting observation about turbo whine on stock turbos
I have noticed the whine of my turbos (which I have come to accept as normal when running high boost/E85) gets measurably louder when making hard left turns. Then it returns to normal. Has anyone else experienced this? My guess is that it has something to do with oil moving through the motor?

on cold starts, and when the engine is cold and cruising, I can hear a large howl coming from my turbos, but I haven't noticed it getting any louder on hard left turns, that is pretty interesting. with E85, you are going to hear some more turbo noise, that's what I have noticed.

I had the same issue. Turns out, my motor mounts were worn out so making a left caused the engine to tilt more causing the exhaust to stress the turbo housing etc.
