Fair price to pay for these 2 335i?

Looking at these 2 335's and was wondering what you guys think is a fair price to pay?

CPO 2010 335i Xdrive, 20k miles, NAV and nothing else listed for $31.5k. Been on the lot for about two months. Whats a fair price to NEG this down to, 28k fair?

CPO 2011 335i, 27k miles, premium package and thats it and its listed for 31.8k. Been on the lot for almost a year. Thinking 27.5k? Most likely on lot due to being RWD and pretty base.

Of course taxes, titles, fees will be added on to the prices later on.

Fair prices? Any tips on how to negotiate, my friends always get 3-4 thousand off the price I have only managed 1000 MAX.

If you're buying from a BMW dealership I doubt they will go that low. You'll most likely get the, "We do true pricing, and believe are cars are priced aggressively to sell".

Yes these are from BMW dealership but these cars have been sitting for a while and thats no way true pricing lol. They all have room to haggle IMO, in the end I am willing to pay 29k MAX+taxes/title/etc.

If I may jump in, I think you should shoot for a car with more options! Im not a stripper guy myself so maybe my opinion is biased, but half the fun with these cars are the great options available. Sport Package and Premium Sound should be non-negotiable for such a great engine and pricy car.

They all have harmon kardon. Sport package I love but I must give up due to my budget.

Do you have the VIN#s for both vehicles? It will be helpful to determine their exact options.

Furthermore, I think the CPO 2011 is your best option. The vehicle has been sitting for a while so there is more incentive for them to sell. Based on your audizine thread you don't really care about a navigation so this car sounds like a better fit.

I hope this car works out better for you than the A4. Either way you are getting a much more entertaining vehicle.

I saw the first car they wouldn't budge under $31k. He said he has to ask the main manager tomorrow. My final offer was $29.5k, lets see what happens.

You are the buyer, and there is nothing wrong to make an offer even if it is low. The worst they can do is say no. The thing that kind of bothers me sometimes is that they overprice too high initially, do not take lower offers and then sell at much lower price five months later.

I agree, the car has been listed for 60 days. The other one which I did not see yet has been listed for 4 months! I am sure they will take it because usually in the past the salesman says "contact us" when you are ready if they are insulted by your offer this time he said he will try his best to make it work.....he was a good guy though.

I did notice the tires were not new they were 65% according to my meter so I will use that if they try to say no to my offer.

Are you trying to buy from Tom Williams? Are you in Pelham, Alabama?

The reason "supposedly" according to my BMW friends at Sonnen in Marin Co. ca. for higher prices is the depreciation value.
IDK, a car is a car is a car when the yrs start rolling by right?
And really, its not like your buying some pile of crap Honda that's weak, yet reliable for 199 a month which any BMW would smoke.
Simple solution, buy what you can afford and enjoy.....

I bought my 09 CPO for less than kbb "private party" price.
Everything is negotiable, but you have to be willing to walk. As nice as the car might be, BMW make like a million of them, there is always others.

Do you mind telling me how you negotiated on the price? End of the month? How much off the internet price did you get?

I am new to this somewhat.

Just tell him what you are going to pay and give a reasonable argument why. If you can find comparable cars listed for less, that will help too.
I paid about $2k less than internet price. The internet price was already about $2k under sticker.

Probably the best way to negotiate with them is on the interest rate, they can probably give you a better one than the bank or maybe get them to eat the dealer fees. As far as the purchase price though I told you it's hard to make them move.
