FS: Black 03 cobra, Built Motor w/ Whipple****4 new tires****NEW PAINT
Ok guys, I'm not sure if I want to sell the cobra any more but I figured I'd repost with an updated list of mods. I think I have just about everything on here now. Tell me what you think its worth. I know I should be getting rid of it but for some reason I really want to keep the car as well. Motor was professionally done by Razors Edge Performance near Ft. Lauderdale, I have reciepts for parts and many many pictures of the complete build if needed. It has well over 25k in aftermarket parts & labor. The new motor was put in at 60k miles and now has just over 66k miles. Motor - Stock block bored .020 over - Diamond Pistons & Steel hardened rings - Clevlite and Federal bearings - Completely balanced rotating assembly - All internals were jet coated to resist heat - ARP main studs, head studs, & rod bolts - Custom comp cams - Comp cam springs and retainers - 3 angle valve job on heads, new valve guides - 1mm over sized valves - Whipple 2.3 Supercharger on 13psi - LFP heat exchanger - JLT cold air intake painted black - NGK-TR6 gapped @ 0.029 Exhaust - Custom 3inch X-pipe - Custom 3inch Cat-back with turndowns for axel Transmission - T56 with Liberty's Gears - Viper spec 5th (0.75:1) and 6th gear (0.50:1) - Centerforce DFX clutch - Centerforce Aluminum Flywheel - New throw out bearing - 26-spline input shaft - 31-spline output shaft - Steeda firewall adjuster - Steeda clutch quadrant - Steeda tri-ax short throw shifter with stops Rear End - 8.8 solid out of a GT - 3.73 gears - Completely welded together - Moser 33-spline axels - Strange 10 way adjustable shocks - True track posi - Narrowed ¾ inch on each side - Steeda drag springs with air bag Fuel System - Siemens 60lb injectors - Completely sumpted rear tank - 8an line going into a y block into to 6an lines feeding each rail separately - Aeromotive fuel rails - Aeromotive a1000 pump with two filters - Aeromotive regulator - Stock fuel line is now the return line Miscellaneous - Autometer Pro Series Boost/Vac Gauge mounted on steering wheel - Steeda full-length sub frame connectors welded in with torque boxes - Custom front bumper bracket weights only 2lbs saves 13lbs off front end - Custom rear bumper bracket eights only 2lbs saves 12lbs off rear end - Interior trim pieces painted black - Nitto 315 drag radials The car is currently setup for 13lbs boost and is tuned for this setup. The boost can very easily be changed up to 25lbs, however I do not have any other pullies, was planning on making a race tune but never got around to it. Car runs like a complete dream, new motor is extremely strong, nothing wrong with the car at all. Car does has the normal front end nicks for a 66k mile car, nothing surprising. But the car is being completely repainted Jet black like the BMW's and if it doesn't sell will be painted a Jet black with a two tone Kawasaki green at the body line with a silver pin stripe. I know there is alot I'm likely missing, but I just wanted to throw it on the board to see what people think. Please email me for further questions. Ohthreecobra@aol.com or feel free to PM me Thanks, Billy Heres a link with the new paint job. Car isn't put completely back together. When it is I wil take more pics. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...d.php?t=413573 Last edited by Snow White; 08-23-2007 at 12:02 PM.. |

pic of the fuel system and solid rear. pic of the internals after they were heat coated. pic of motor after the build. Exterior pic. Sry that its not the best quality but I did what I could. As far as price goes you can either throw out a number because thats what I'm trying to decide myself. I am selling the car because I'm trying to finance a new house and my mother is having some financial problems so I'm trying to help her out as well. There is nothing wrong with the car. I will take trades depending on what it is. Thanks, Billy |

536rwhp on 13lbs. on 21lbs 150 and water/meth your looking at 1000rwhp. as far as times go before the rebuild i went 11.72 at 123mph and got kicked out of the track for not having a cage in the car.

Amazing times, looks like you might have had some traction issues with that pass too. Now I know why you never want to run against an 03-04 Cobra making funny noises under the hood. What was your 60ft?
Best I've ever done was 11.67 at 120.6 in a stock Viper GTS with a 1.8 60'. |
