what % tint?
Hey guys, i drive a monaco blue e92 328i and i'm getting my windows tinted tomorrow. Do you guys have any suggestions on what % would go nice with monaco blue?

I believe that in Cali the front windows cannot be tinted at all, but there are many cars on the road that violate that law. That said, go 35% all around if you want to risk it. If you don't want to risk it, get 50% in back--that way there's less contrast between your fronts and rears. IMHO cars that have no tint in front and very dark tint in back look strange...in a bad way. Above all, don't tint your windshield.

Apparently, insurance companies will disqualify your claim if they find tin on your windshield after an accident, even if the tint in no way contributed to the accident. Not worth the risk, although I would love to get 50% on my windshield to cut down on heat and even things out a bit. |

5% back+10% front= me opening my windows at night to reverse & find street signs if i'm goin somewhere new.....
