A stock M3 with a PERFECT launch can keep up with an M5 to 80 if the M5 doesn't use launch control and had all the electro nannies on, In 400/450 hp mode, Had a girl driving afraid to rev it past 6K because it screams, or had 5 people in the car plus 2 in the trunk. You're talking about a low 4 sec 0-60 trapping 115 mph vs.

i agree....m3 is no match for the e60 m5 running at it's full potential. it's like saying that my e55 will slowly walk the m3 past 80. me and all the friends (with m3's and e39 m5's) would highly disagree. lets say that with everyone at 40mph, I let 2 m3's and a e39 m5 hit it, i waited about 2 secs, then shot past them when they were ~ 120, and i was going 145.
