Question about DIY Fix for steering wheel
The black material on my steering wheel (I believe it is vinyl) is chipping or peeling.
I have not hit it with a key or anything so I am not sure what the root cause is. When I search for replacement parts, I do not see this specific piece of the steering wheel. My question, what DIY solution you suggest to prevent this problem form getting worse and ultimately look great. 1. Can I replace the vinyl? 2. Would black nail polish be a quick and dirty fix. I appreciate any and all suggestions.
