I bought the aFe Cold Air Intake for my 2007 e92 335i.
I chose the package that includes the air scoops but I either can't get them to fit or I maybe don't understand how to do it.

I bought this package:

If you compare the design of the scoops in the link above with these ones..

..then you can see that the scoops in the second link are "wider" and therefore would probably be no problem to install. The ones I got are not wide enough to be able to "hang" in the slot where they are to be placed.

Now, has anyone installed the scoops in link 1 and can tell me if there are any special tricks I need to know or do they simply not fit my car?

I have the scoops on my 1er and I had to squeeze them in almost. Maybe it's possible that you have 1er scoops as opposed to 3er ones. Though I really have no idea if there's any difference.

Thanks for the reply. I looked up this video on youtube and it seems to be the scoops that I got...

Seems as if aFe then managed to ship a package of air scoops for the 135 in the package I bought for my 335...? Or is there something I misunderstand maybe??
