I see a problem where Dyno's would only measure air restriction, not any of the gains you'd get from an intake's cold air sourcing and engine-bay heat isolation.
You definitely want thermocouple probe measurements, on a heat-soaked car, during driving conditions. The HP gains from cold air are potentially much more than the gains from less restricted intake air flow.

They do SOUND better though.

We just need a vendor to make a intake that attaches to the turbos and sucks from in front of the oil cooler with a big cone filter. Ditch the tiny POS plastic intake runners every system seems to be trying to use. Until that happens i dont see any real gains with intakes.

You have a link for a $32 K&N filter on ebay? I couldn't find anything for the 335 on there.
