Back from M3 launch, well car show

it turned out to be

wondered why it said on the tickets, ''Motor show 2007''

but when my local $tealer emailed me they asked me if i would like to come to

''The M3 Launch''

but i arrived at 4 as i wanted to watch the GP and alot of people were leaving, i did hear some people mutter it was due to a Fandango that was arriving late that everyone was leaving an hour early as i walked in

Any how, it was refreshing to see some ''hooligan'' drivers leaving as we arrived there some f355's and nobles, going er.. very sideways on exit

which i and all the other children present thoroughly enjoyed

There was quite a few cars left. The show was set up really well in a school field, one on another level to another My local $tealer was on the ''higher'' level..

I Parked next to an old legend, yes it looks WAY out of date but i still marvel at how fast this thing can go

STOCK
377bhp and 177mph eveb by todays standards thats quick let alone in the early nineties

then there was this Corvette with MUCHO Chrome Blingay MO fo, which had Lambo doors, and MASSIVE rims, didnt check what size but im guessing at least 21"

a Lotus Esprit, old one tho

a Mk2 2 RS Mexico

and now the MIGHTY E92 M3 in Melbourne Red with Black leather and Brushed Alu

Now the pics YOU HAVE ALL been waiting for

Carlos Fandango the Tank Top wearing Densil driver pics with the new m3

posing just for YOU ''The loveable chaps'' of the E90POST.COM website

i know you guys love me in that top so i thought id best wear it as ill be posing with this new M Machine

right onto the car

loved the looks outside, very very manacing looking, and Hardcore looking fo sho

Love the M5 esque wheels, well sorta inbetween e46 m3 and e60 m5 wheels!

interior seats are gorgeous and the leather is very soft and Stunning i must say, hope the bolsters can be pushed in further electrically like the ones in my 335d as i like the support

Steering wheel is not very good in my opinion, looks and feels cheap no class to it, the 335d se wheel is much classer with its bronze trim!

Manual for me is ok, but look forward to whatever SMG type system there bringin out early next year

LOVE THE M in the headrests

very

asked the lady for info and spec sheet, didnt have any either that or she didnt believe im a prospective buyer? maybe i should have driven straight up to the stand in the 335d??

dad wanted the info as he thinkin bout one, aswell as a quattroporte and 60 M5:rocks:
Was a nice show

shame i arrived late but i did love the M3

Carlos

Nice write-up Carlosingmyreligion.
All the pics of the m3 I've seen since they came out look sooooo much better than the official and spy shots IMHO. It actually looks quite good. The interior isn't special enough I don't think.... but I disagree about the wheel - looks like the M Sport (superior to the SE ) wheel but with that nice blue and red stitching mmmmmm

Myself and my mate also thought the same when we compared our two cars side-by-side at the weekend too! (E92 335d M Sport & E92 M3)
Perhaps it is because the tyre profiles are larger on the M3 and also it has the EDC suspension????
