It's not about boost, it's about timing. There are many piggy, and flash maps that run 14-18lbs race/aggressive maps, with lots of timing, requiring 93-100 octane.

You do understand that in the presence of higher IATs the piggy backs pulls timing right? Lol

Finally found the problem. Wasn't overheating. Was the exhaust Vanos solenoid causing me limp mode. Replaced it and everything is fine.
