Cruise Control error

Hi

I did some coding today including Disclaimer, Seat belt chime, Wiper to off position on a 2010 320d

After the coding finished cruise control error is coming up in the control messages of the iDrive
Anyone have this issue or who can PM on how to clear the code?

what is the actual error?
sounds like something else was changed.

use your backups and go back to stock.

then change one option at a time, and test the car, to see if any one of those individual options you enabled is causing the error

Did you just try to recode your KOMBI?

Sorry I'm not a coder, so I have no idea

mrtanz has done some coding for me, so thats why i have asked him to see if he can help me with my issue

I have read that a member got a M35080 programmer and used that to reset his vin # (I believe that the chips after 2007 are read only though, so perhaps he changed the chip also?)

He had to change a chip, otherwise your mileage will not be correct with CAS. You also need to have VIN changed.

If he recoded your KOMBI then all should be fine, no cruise control error.

My cluster hasn't been coded at all, just bought a used cluster and plugged it in.

Everything appears to be working fine and it displays the correct mileage but i have the cruise control malfunction error...

I'm unsure if this error is related to the fact that my vin has been assigned to the cluster or its a separate issue?

I'm almost sure that all will be fine if you just recode your cluster.
You just need k-dcan cable for about $40.

IMO it is only coding issue.
