How much boost are you running? I'm not doubting that your OEM DV's are holding up fine but any significant increase in boost over an extended period of time is eventually going to wear out the OEM DV's. Hopefully when they do fail they fail open so they just bleed boost. But if they fail closed that could lead to a broken or popped off CP or compressor surge which is really bad.

Typically 15 ish. Just been on map 5 for the longest time now so I don't check as often.

Almost double stock boost so that's a pretty good that they have held up. Have you ever checked them?

I've only looked at logs, never physically tested them.

I got mine used and it didn't come with the coupler or clamps. I'm sure it installs fine with what it comes with, but the coupler I got from the auto store was only 3" long and would slip off.
I got a 4 ply 5" long coupler made by venair. VARED4P-2503005 part number for the coupler.

Well if you're ever curious it's a pretty simple test if you have a vacuum pump:

If not then (skip ahead to 1:05 for actual test):

You take off the recirculation hoses, and cap the holes on the turbo inlet pipes.

You can use 1" chair end caps from Home Depot. They are rubber and black, so don't look out of place.

Safe? Yes, it's not different than a BOV really. All the Vishnu ST guys do the same thing, vent their Forge DV's to the atmosphere.
