Just looking to increase performance but I'm not looking to have the fastest car. I want to keep my engine running well and if E85 is going to harm it more then 93, I might as well keep 93.

Everyone is here to learn, but there comes a point where one needs to do some digging on their own. I'd say you are at that point.

The search button can be your best friend.

E85 will give you a lot more power. Like I said, jury is still out on whether it has any ill effects on this car. May be perfectly fine.

Using less than 40% e85 shouldn't be too hard on your fuel components, but will still give you a lot more power. Any more than 40% isn't recommended without upgrading your parts.

I only have JB4 and DCI also. 40% e85 and 93 oct, hitting 17psi and dynoed around 400hp/420tq.

After you put in some e85. Switch to map 5 and do 4-5 WOT runs in 3rd gear from 2300rpm-redline. Map 5 needs to fully adapt.

I'm running 9 gallons of E85 and about 4.0 gallons of 93 when im right at about a quarter of a tank, maybe little less and i'm running map 7 full time and it loves it. Logs look good as well. Low pressure fuel pump is sort of close to being maxed out but still has some room in it I always stay at this exact mixture and fill up usually 99.9% of the time at a tick below a quarter of a tank. Try it, you will LOVE IT

btw it adapts car will be at half tank

im running map5 with my setup however, if i put in 50% E85 then i will go to map 7

Thanks for the information! Just to be clear there is no minimum, I just should use a 70:30 ratio of 93-E85 and if I got 50:50 ratio of 93-E85 go to map 7?

I use map7 because of the increase in boost PSI and also i use a LPFP to help with that you should be over 100 oct before jumping to Map7 if i were you stay with Map 5

Every car is different an it reacts differently some cars LPFP can only handly 2-5 gallons of e85 before it freaks out and you get alarms and your car hates life. Some can handle more

I would just start off with 3 gallons first drive about 10 miles and let it mix. Run Map 5 do a few WOT
I would do a log and see where you are at and send to Terry. You might have to adjust your AFR and your Fuel Open Loop.

If you Car runs ok try 4 gallons, then 5 until you start having issues then back off. make sure you document everything you are doing so you can go back.

Once you start down the path with e85 you will never go back. it will be your new crack and you will get the shakes because you dont have it and you will want it and you will sell your soul to get more

Maps:

Map 0: Stock bypass. This is the only map you may use the OBDII diagnostic port with. Set to map 0 before dropping off for service, using a BT, etc.
Map 1: 13psi (suggested for most stock applications)
Map 2: 14.5psi (suggested for those with downpipes and 93 octane)
Map 3: Progressive meth mapping with flow sensor failsafe. See guide to enable. Meth use isn't supported/suggested without a flow sensor and map 3.
Map 4: Stock map w/ CAN active. Allows full logging and in dash gauges on the stock mapping.
Map 5: Autotuning map. Boost ranges between 12-17psi based on your cars octane, conditions, and modifications. Fully E85 compatible. If using E85 we suggest around 30-40%.
Map 6: User defined boost map.
Map 7: Race gas map. 16.5psi on G4 board, 18psi on G5 board. Requires straight 100-104+ RM2 octane racing fuel.
Map 8: Economy / Non-Turbo map. Triggers a 3100 "reduced power mode" code while active. After switching back to a normal map you will need to restart the car for the code to clear.

Map1,2,5 are the most popular.
