I had the injen in my 2008 335 and I now have the new white filter BMS ones. They both function the same. The injen looks better and the BMS sounds better and is cheaper. If I could go back I would have skipped the Injen and got the BMS and saved around $300.00 Injen is a pretty waste of $$$ but if you don't care about wasted money and zero performance gains over a cheaper alternative then by all means get the injen. Check my pics for installed injen shots. I will take some pics of the BMS intake soon. Injen is a quality peice of metal with some nice metal "injen" stickers.

Looks. There may be a difference in the flow rate or the neck design, however it would be so minimal that I doubt you'd notice. I went for the white ones as I think the red look cheap & nasty. Plus, the white is just a little different.

I originally ordered the dry filters but the guy stuffed up and sent me oiled. (both are white / silverish). I wouldn't worry about sensors though as there aren't any between the pods and the turbos and doubt oil would get far once it hit the heat in the turbo. |

All dual-cones are bad, I had the Injen and you could feel the loss of power while driving around town because of the hot air under the hood. Get a cold air intake like the Stett. Between BMS and Injen, I would choose Injen because it is really well made (but with a price to match). The BMS intake hangs around in the engine bay, you can move the filters around with your hand.

I have Injen's on my car, they are amazing. Clean install, easy if your somewhat mechanically inclined.
They have the sound & the looks.

It's better to lose another 5hp, but save your engine. But if you don;t drive in rainy days the best is probably cai!!!

Here is a CAI with no filter in the bumper: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8762970 And you don't lose 5hp with a DCI, in fact, the high-end is fine. You lose like 20% of your spool-up torque, at least according to my feeling of driving it.
