Hey Lim, I saw your profile, do CZ also do detailing and designing? Or just pure fabrication and erection. Let me know my company is looking or someone to detail drawings in AutoCAD and Solidworks. PM me

The dealer has confirmed that the replacement pump has a part number that ends in "943" so I guess this is the latest one, and hopefully it won't give me any problems. They also said no ECU software upgrades, just straightforward pump swap. Scheduled on Thursday

My nice dealer replaced my functioning HPFP today, charge was $0.00. No change in performance noted, no codes, no problems. Here is a pic of the old pump. My new pump's SKU ends in "943" which is the latest incarnation of the infamous HPFP. It is not the remanufactured "933"
Now home to order the SLD... |

I talked to my buddy who is a dealer tech, he said there is a recall coming but its not official yet.
He also said the hpfp will throw codes for other things besides just being blown, so maybe your tech got one that said something else was wrong. Good luck with the new one.

I'm pleased to report that my HPFP is still fine, 2-1/2 years and 20 000 kms after the dealer replaced the old but perfectly-functioning one.

I've had mine replaced twice in the past two years. Last one was late last year, so hopefully I have a good one now and won't have anymore issues. Depending on the mods you're running OP, you may never have an issue. I didn't have any issues until I started running high % of e85. Now I'm running 100% e85 and car runs great. I know a lot of people say NO, but it might not be a bad idea to have it replaced.
