Not sure what experience E90Company has at repairing this, but I do first hand. No need for a brass nipple considering it came as plastic from the factory. Buy plastic vacuum line connector sold at most auto part stores (cost $2.79). Make sure when you drill you start with the smallest bit and work up until hole is the correct size for the smallest connector. Put connector in hole of intake with crazy glue on it- let dry. Then put vacuum line back on once completely dry. Hope this helps!

I recommend you do this rather than buying a new IM. I'd also recommend you use JBWeld as per the DIY, because it's stronger than glue and will provide a better seal for an area that experiences boost pressure. |
