Pads and rotors F&R with sensors - $344.92

I read some other posts with people saying they paid $600 - $1800 for new brakes. I did some research and was able to find parts for much cheaper. My criteria for the search was to use OEM suppliers for parts (although I did price the Hawk pads which is are not OEM suppliers), and purchase whatever I found cheapest from there. I also wanted ceramic pads. Here is what I found:

*Please note that the following part numbers are based on a 2007 328i Sedan with a 10/2006 production date. Part numbers may vary.

*All prices include shipping costs.

ROTORS

Balo
F - W0133-1925994 - $108.50 (pelicanparts)
R - W0133-1779673 - $88.08 (theautopartsshop)

ATE
F - 34116854998 - $141.50 (pelicanparts)
R - 34216855007 - $63.50 (pelicanparts)

Brembo
F - W0133-1925994 - $182.50 (partsgeek)
R - W0133-1781572 - $100.74 (partsgeek)

Zimmerman
F - 34116854998 / W0133-1913647 – $118.50 (partsgeek)
R – 34216855007 / W0133-1913671 - $123.48 (autohausaz)

PADS

Hawk Ceramic - $153.12 (THMotorsports)
F - HB534Z.750
R - HB621Z.638

Textar Ceramic - $165.00 (pelicanparts)
F - 34116799166
R - 34216774692

Akebono Ceramic - $111.09 (brakepadwholesale)
F - EUR1061
R - EUR1267

SENSORS
OEM - $50.50 (eBay)
Bowa - $37.25 (pelicanparts)
Uro - $23.80 (Amazon)

I ended up going with Balo rotors, Akebono Euro Ceramic pads and Bowa sensors. I may end up looping the brake pad wear sensors and returning the ones I purchased - bringing the total cost down to $307.67. You could also use non-ceramic pads and loop your sensors to bring the total cost below $300. Who said BMW's are expensive to maintain???

I will update after installation with a review. I anticipate losing some of the initial bite and stopping power with the ceramic pads. But I wanted a low-dust pad and these new Akebono Euro Ceramics have really good reviews so far.
