Rust-Oleum NeverWet on wheels

Has anyone ever tried using Rust-Oleum's NeverWet on OEM or aftermarket wheels??

Someone in the office just mentioned this today. I would be interested in seeing how well it repels water/dirt/grime over time as well. Hopefully it wouldn't make the finish deteriorate though. I have seen similar products before, and the results are pretty interesting.

A lot of people don't like Armor All products though.

seems to leave a frosted finish, so probably not going to look good on non-matte wheels

wow that product looks awesome. And it's made by Armor all! What's the product called actually because I'm not sure I've seen it here in Canada before.

I've used it before. And now I keep it stocked in my garage. I bought mine at Canadian tire.

I use the Armor All product on my AG m310's and I love it. One can only lasts maybe two uses on all 4 wheels, and it only lasts 2 weeks on the wheel. But it's certainly better than nothing!

That stuff works great but doesn't last long at all. I'm not pulling my wheels every 2-3 weeks to apply this product.

Just did some research on the stuff. I think I'm just going to stick with other recommended sealants instead.

Who would care enough to do that, I just clean the outer parts up to the lip on mine. I sure as hell aint gonna take them off to do this!

Looked up the product on ebay. The cheapest one was $13-$14. Looked at pepboys.com and it's $8.99 with a $5 mail-in rebate. Good time to give this product a shot.

To my knowledge, Neverwet is going to leave a more opaque/white looking finish on the top layer. It may last longer than the Armor All stuff though.

why not just wax them with a wheel wax at the beginning of the season, and when you rotate the wheels, clean them and apply again. ive done that and it works well.
