Thread for pics of Xi's with spacers. Some quick ones to start. My car is on a sloped, uneven gravel driveway. Have not had time to get to flat asphalt. Hoped to install the rear subframe bushing stiffeners + M3 bar this weekend, parts will not arrive til next week. ANyway here are 3 pics, rear 15mm spacers. Koni sports + Eibach pro kit. 189's w Conti DWS. And dirty car!

Obviously some clearance between fender edge and tire. Issue is up in the wheel well it may get tight under full compression, and some contact with plastic inner fender liner. Have had no issues yet.

edit: This is on a 2009 e92 335xi. Front has 12mm, rear has 15mm spacers. Please note I am pretty sure LCI cars have different track widths so make sure you double check with vendors plus do your own research as to what fits your specific car and wheel offsets. Oh yeah these are BMS model spacers.

Looks good. As you pointed out, that looks it may rub under full load. Looking forward to hearing about (and seeing) the M3 and bushing stiffener install.

The bushing stiffeners will be here tonight but the sway bar not until mid next week so it will be next weekend earliest I can tackle all that. Do not want to drop the sub frame more than once.

These look pretty stout. Notice quarter for scale. Comes with some lube and instructions. Material seems like a firm polyurethane but it is flexible and not as hard as Delrin. Depending on how these fit into the voids in the OEM and compress under load it could raise the rear by as much as 1/2", the thickness of bottom and top faces are approx 1/4".

e90xi riding on Kwv1s and BMS 12mm front and 15mm rear spacers. I do rub on the rears just a bit, but only while taking a sharp turn/curb combo. Nothing to worry about, does not rub on bumps on highway or around fast turns. If I wasnt lowered so much they would fit fine.

Looks great. I think you are even lower than mine is in back, are you all the way down on the K1's? Also seems you have more rear camber, do you remember what it was set at?

Will do. Do you remember or does someone else, are the upper spring perches on the rear flush into the unibody or into the subframe? I thought they set into the subframe but cannot remember. Reason is if they are not into the subframe this set of stiffeners will not raise the car much, but it will change the geometry a little. If it is into the subframe then the entire susp and load points will be sifted down WRT unibody.

edit: looked at some pics I think they go into cups set into the unibody.

Yeah the rears only have ~1 thread left, cant go down much further (however i hear you can cut bumpstops to get it lower ). I think it is a little lower than I want with the spacers, but i dont want to adjust it and force another allignment. I dont remember the camber, but it was within factory specs but I do seem to notice a subtle bit of it going on now. I bet it has a little more camber than yours because it is set a little lower, assuming my allignment was correct anyway!

edit: afterthought, its odd that the fronts have 6-7 threads left but the backs are about at the lowest I can get them. Wonder what the point of having ~1.25" more in the front than the back is? I know us XIs have bad rake, but damn!

I have 10mm front and 15mm rear with 235 18 front and 265 18 rear with bilstein shocks and eibach springs. I used to rub in the rear on some bumps and turns but now since I had M subframe bushings installed I have no rub.

Guys quick question. People running spacers with the xis, is there not lots of under steer with the staggered set up? I feel there's a lot of under steer even stock. Interested in opinions of people running staggered set up on xis. Would love the staggered look don't think I can live with increased under steer though

do you actually drive your car everyday to the point that this becomes an issue? i have spacers on my car and do not notice anything different in the driving of my car. 10s up front 15s out back.
