Updated jb4; low boost now
I just updated my jb4 g5 iso to the most recent firmware which is #23. While I did this, I also changed Future Use B to 2 and Fuel Open Loop to 75 due to the 29F2 and 29E2 codes I was getting. Those were the instructions from BMS if you are getting those codes. I test drive the car and no matter what map, it was only getting 7-8PSI, I'm guessing stock boost. Any ideas?

I was getting 7-8 psi in every map using the latest firmware, but here is my story. I updated the firmware, drove straight to an e85 gas station and put in 40% e85. I got on the highway immediately and tried map 7 for the first time.
It hit 17+ psi, then around 5000rpm, psi dropped to 7-8 psi all the way to redline. After that no matter which map I chose, I couldn't go above 7-8psi. I pulled over, turned off the car, then restarted right away. Same thing. I pulled over again, but this time let the car sit about 5-10 minutes then got back on the highway. Put it to map 5 and it started hitting normal boost again. I'm really not sure what exactly happened and how it fixed itself, but maybe your car will be fine tomorrow morning? |
