Dead 335d?
My 335d has been at the dealers for over a week now and they cant fix it...... thank #### its under warranty!
The DPF went (52k miles) and they are struggling to fix it. Spoke to them today for an update and they said that they has replaced DPF and a few misc components yet they still cant get it do a regen - they have tried 3 times. The back pressure is too high and wont allow a regen..... (whatever that means!) They have told me that the last 335d they had in with this problem had to have the head off to be de-coked! They have given me a courtesy car until rectified so i'm not stranded by any means but........... it's a bloody X1 - quite frankly, its the worst car i think i have ever driven! Regardless of fix, think its time for a new toy. F30? ![]() Last edited by Buttons; 07-10-2013 at 07:04 AM.. |

We once had excessive exhaust back pressure before and it was a head gasket failure blowing between two cylinders. Which was putting compression pressure down the exhaust valve. Took some finding that one did!
Hope all gets sorted |
