My good friend is a bmw tech and he mentioned to me about the belt failures. He had me check where my serpentine belt waa riding on the tensioner pulley. If the belt is riding on the front of the pulley it is time to replace it. An Oem belt, tensioner, and new aluminum bolt cost me $160 cost through my local dealer and I did the job in under 20 minutes.
