Why would you want to put these on a wheezy 320d??

PS You'll need some brake pads to complete..

You will need custom brackets for the front and the back (if you just did the front the bias will be off)

No one has ever posted a pic of what the brackets need to look like it is on you

Plus the insurance implications will make it an un-viable modification.

What would be more amazing is an insurance company totally not worrying about undeclared mods in the event of an accident.

Ignorance is bliss I guess... until the bill drops onto the mat.

If you modify your car tell the insurance company. Most of them are very reasonable about sensible mods.

Which reminds me....I haven't told the insurance company about my remap.

Best tell the Insurance about all modifications!!! If someone crashes into you and you claim against their Insurance you can be sure that their Insurance company will be going over your car with the finest tooth comb known to man. One little thing out of the ordinary and doesn't tie up with your policy and your screwed, regardless of fault.

And just to give you an idea of how reasonable they can be my premium has risen from £507 to £545 to cover the remap.

You were a third party. Insurance companies tend not to be to concerned about paying out for third parties as long as the vehicle is road legal. Unless you drive a veyron and then they may dig deeper. It's if you are to blame that your insurance company will look for a way out. This also depends on the potential cost of the claim.

Did you do this?

Does anyone know if anyone has done this mod yet? I am quite interested in this mod and whether it can be done.

Cheers

Back to topic guys or someone will report u all!!

Apart from the brackets you will also need to change your exisiting brake cylinder( that oil fluid that pumps into brakes ) as it much bigger.

Lots of talks before, if you have frds that can make the bracket cheap, get the parts next to nothing and has a very frdly mechanic who has enough time to help you test and trail then its going ti be costing alot.
