Sporadic RPMs in Reverse

Question....

Sometimes when I am backing out of my driveway, my RPMs tend to sporadically jump between 500-1000 rpms.

Just curious if this happens to anyone? it doesn't happen all the time, just happens here and there.

I have this also sometimes, only when my engine is still cold. I believe it is the power steering, it only occurs when my wheel is cut
