Front tires get beat up more than rears?
I've spent most of my track days on two tracks and it seems that my rears generally do fine but my fronts REALLY get beat up.
Is this a general rule or just specific to the two places I've been? I was pushing a lot, so that might explain the first set of fronts getting chewed up, but my 2nd set is getting chewed up too even with the rear sway installed (more neutral now). And yes, I rotate around corners when necessary - just not driftin-style, yo. |

Yes, its because of the understeer issue..and the lack of ability to really get any decent negative camber without doing adjustable camber plates up front.

Yeah the rear sway has neutralized a lot of the understeer. Really recommend it for you stock suspension guys. Just keep in mind its a lot less forgiving and your tail will loop right around with much less warning.
The unfortunate side effect of a more "solid rear axle" like backend is that I get Wheelspin-City. |

It's systemic mainly due to the lack of negative camber up front. Only way to really fix it is increasing negative camber and keeping it during cornering. Driving style can sometimes play a roll as well. There is one corner at my local track where you chew the front tires more depending on how you take the corner. Review your lines in corners that put lots of load on your fronts due to cornering and see if there isn't an easier on the tire line.
