Help! what is wrong with my car and headlight?!

So I got my headlights modified last year and after a few months I started getting an error code when I turned on my high beams that would disable the adaptive headlights. Therefore I sent my headlights to get fixed by the person who modified my headlight originally. However, FedEx lost the package by delivering it to the wrong address entirely and refused to take blame and only honored my claim for 100 bucks. So I had to buy an entirely new headlight. This nightmare has spanned over 2 months and I had just gotten my headlight back in yesterday and during my second time driving the car since the headlight was put back in, the original code was thrown again. And now I'm at a loss. I drove the car with one headlight and the code was never thrown. Can anyone help me? What could the issue be?

Also before it only got thrown when the high beams were on but now it gets thrown when the low beams are on.

I'm no expert, but maybe it had something to do with the power going to the headlight. I'm no electrician either but I figure If the wiring was messed up then maybe when you turn on the high beams, it might go crazy and disable the adaptive feature
