Interior door trim detached? any help
i have a 2006 e90, recently i was getting into the car and must have pulled the end off? (pics below) from the looks of it there are 2 plastic grommets the trim locks to..
any advice on how to best get this resolved? part number/website? DIY? any info is appreciated, thx |

Go to dealership and order those clear clips. If I remember correctly it was 12 for $10 for something and reinstall and you're finished.

I'm not sure about where this was when I took my trim off but where is the metal rod that sticks out of the trim? It gets inserted into a holder on the door and you can just line up the clear pieces and pop it back in.
That thing isnt easy to get off I wonder what happened. |

Ok, went to a junk yard, looking for a BMW badge for the trunk, and while I was there, I picked up 3 of the grommets I needed for the door trim :-) 1 dollar a piece. Didn't take long, trim solidly back on! :-)
