Would these be covered under warranty?

I've seen some people on here getting their shadowline trim replaced under AUC warranty.

Just wondering if I'd be able to get mine done as well as the roof rail which has started to flake away a fair bit.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi
Had both my gloss black shadowline trims replaced under warranty last week Car is just over a year old so not very impressed that they had started to corrode but the dealer agreed to replace them with no argument . Also had both rear 313 wheels replaced as they were corroding as well.

Do you both live by the sea and are your cars left outside a lot?

Ok. I've seen cars like this before where they look like they have just been parked and left in the snow all winter and then under a tree all summer!

Don't see how you would not give the warranty a shot .....

It looks damaged rather than corroding on its own. One looks like a stone chip and the rest heavily swirled like its not been looked after.

You can only ask as see.

Also concerning to hear more 313 wheels having to be replaced.

They said no, as it's classed as trim - Part type 51 or something.

Any ideas ?

Anyone? Seen loads of other posts saying people have had these replaced under warranty.

Thanks,

Andy
