Where to stay near Nurburgring?
I got my M5 ring taxi booked, just need to find a hotel now. Looked up the Schmitz hotel, but unfortunately that one is all booked.
Which hotels have you guys stayed at when visiting, and did you enjoy it? Any recommendation is appreciated, thanks! |

There is a ton of hotels and bed-n-breakfast's around the 'Ring - I haven't stayed there because it is only a 90-min drive for me to get there from my house. However, if you have a rental, I really like the town of Adenau. There is a nice Italian restruant down right beside where the track crosses the town's main road. Great place to watch the car come down the hill.
Here is a pic of me this weekend: |

Most hotels near the ring are booked this weekend due to the Old Timer's GP event.
Might search Hotels or Gasthaus in the nearby towns. Some of the smaller towns should have rooms but you might end up about 15-20km from the track.

mump, I might check out that restaurant, thanks for the info.
I have found a place really close by the ring. Thanks for all the recommendations. All I need to do is find the best place to rent a car specifically for the ring, as I'm aware that you cannot drive a normal rental car on it. Any recommendations as to who to rent from? |
