Why no oil cooler in Xi models?

If n54 is like the n55 you have to order m sport package and get upgraded 18" wheels to get the oil cooler on the XI

Not necessarily M Sport, but yes to the sport package with the addition of 18s. This gives the increased top speed limiter which adds the oil cooler from the factory.

I have an xi with the sport package from 2007. It came with an oil cooler.

I have an '08 xi with Sport but no second oil cooler (bought off the lot). I have 17'' wheels.

You must get the Sport package + the 18'' wheels to get the second oil cooler.

My bad, I don't know why I was thinking they come equipped with a factory one and some with secondary. That doesn't make sense.

There is either a factory oil cooler or not (no second oil cooler lol)

LOL I think you get a third oil cooler with 19's.

Yeah, sucks for us XI guys. The only reason I can see anybody getting an XI with SUMMER tires is if they're swapping them out in the winter.

Or, if you want an oil cooler of course.
