What's is the BMW automatic trans fluid called?
Hey,
I noticed my transmission might need some help I'm looking to get a bottle of the special BMW transmission fluid additive but I don't know the name or model number. Thanks |

Well I meant there was a special fluid in a small bottle specifically for BMW transmissions made by BMW for slipping, I do not remember the name but it is made by BMW.

I've never heard of such a thing. Perhaps your mechtronics sleeve is leaking. It's a common issue with E90 330 and usually has already been replaced by now.

Valvoline Import Multi-Vehicle ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid)
I got this info recently and apparently is "suitable" for our auto tranny, but definitely double check.
Valvoline Import Multi-Vehicle ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) BMW LT 71141, ETL-7045E and M-1375.4 applications http://www.valvoline.com/pdf/multi_vehicle_atf.pdf
