e90 LCI 328ix needs help with 220s

So I recently purchased 220s. There are a lot of posts on the forum but everyone has a different idea. Will they fit? Without rolling fenders? Any idea on tire sizes? Some say 265/30/19 would work, some say even stock 19 setup wont work.

Does anyone have 220s installed on an e90 LCI?

I need to make up my mind and buy tires soon!

Thanks guys.

I know someone has the answer! Come on people, save me some cash. I don't want to buy 3 different sets of tires.

I wonder if I can put 275/30/19 in rear if I roll the fenders, or will I still have to use 265/30/19,

I love how I'm talking to myself haha

Hi,
I have M3 220 reps on my Pre-LCI E90. Rears are 19x9.5 running 265/30/19.

I can't see how you'd have any issue with that size, unless you've lowered your car (beyond OEM Performance spec).

Hope that helps.

Thanks for chiming in, I think 220 reps have different offsets. Mine are:

19x8.5 et29
19x9.5 et23

Definitely rolling the fenders...but now the question is, will 275 be too wide? Do I have to go with 265?

Baris, can you post a pic of your rear wheels, showing off the concave? Trying to do a quick comparison of the different offsets.

Thanks!

Don't have the wheels yet. Hopefully they'll arrive within a week or so. I'll post some pic once I get them.

275 will rub if you are lowered. I would go with 255/30/19 or 265/30/19 max. Here's mine a few months ago on oem 220's

Looks nice, is this with v1?

I'm not lowered but I'm thinking about it. Stock height with 19s just doesn't look right.

I rolled the fenders so I may fit 275s, but we'll see

So what did you do to make it work? Fender roll, thin tires? Any rubbing?

Fender roll, and my tires are Sumitomo HTR Z III.

Left rear rubs a little, but only if I don't slow down for really big bumps. And it rubs because we didn't roll it enough. Right rear is fine.

If I remember correctly, fenders stick out .25inch more than stock.

So did you pull the fenders? What size tires are you running?

I am reading, when you put: If I remember correctly, fenders stick out .25inch more than stock. What does that mean, how does you fender stick out .25 more then stock without a fender pull.
And if you finsh the quote with a ill see, to me that means you have not done it yet and it might not fit.
Im just trying to lean from you, thanks for your help.

Notice that the tire size post is after I said "I'll see". And exactly, how can the fender stick out without a fender pull... You can pull the fenders as you roll them.
