What would you recommend to do in Toronto?
Will be visiting sometime soon with my gf and would like to know what we can do to have fun and where to go. Also recommend a hotel that is good and right in the middle of where the night life is. Aslong as its not a scary night life area lol

for hotel downtown i suggest Fairmont Royal York Hotel downtown Toronto. Staff is very friendly. I was there a couple weeks ago for the long weekend and I was very impressed by the staff. rooms are small but good experience. also a lot of clubs around there as your in the center of Toronto.
As mentioned above CNE is a good place, Wonderland is always a good time for me, of course cn tower if you haven't been there before and you can always catch a jays game. if you here for labor day long weekend check out Labour of Love

Depends what you're looking for, but all of these are good options.
3 options: 1) King West area (King St. between Bathurst and Spadina) - Hip and younger (25-40yrs) Thompson Hotel or Hyatt at (King/ Spadina). Lots of great restaurants and some higher end clubs. Place can get busy at night, but is very safe. Hipsterish shopping area on Queen street close by. I personally love "Blowfish" for quality sushi. (between Bathurst and Spadina) and "pong" can be fun. 2) Downtown core - Fairmont Royal York (but massive construction in the area), tends to be very touristy and is in financial district. 3) Yorkville - posh and some may say a little snobby. Expensive, but good food. For sure a little quieter at night. Park Hyatt is good, but lots to choose from. High end shopping in the area. Google those areas and you'll see there is no shortage of things to do. Last edited by Fozzy; 08-19-2013 at 09:42 PM.. |

We cant go til years end or beginning of next year. Is it cold in the winter time?
We want just to be where everyone would normally go in Toronto to drink and walk the streets to see different shops and resturants.

Cold ? Hit and miss but it depends on what climate you are used to. If you want to walk everywhere, i suggest yonge and dundas square. Its by shopping, food, tourists and subway. Keep in mind Toronto is a big city and to get around, you will need to take transit on occasion

CN Tower, Casa Loma, Distillery District, Panorama Lounge also drive to Niagara Falls if you can.
I'm aPriority Cllub/Ambassador member so hotel I like InterContinental Centre (not Yorkville) but its epensive. So if you wanna save $$$ go to Holiday Inn or a hotel called Bond Hotel good price and close to Eaton Centre (big shopping centre). Some info might help... http://www.toronto.com/
