No pressure in windscreen washer

I am not getting enough pressure on my windscreen washer. I pulled the rubber hose out before the washer jets to see whether I get enough pressure there. But it's only a dribble. Then I primed the line from the tank by sucking and the pressure improved a little bit for a short period. There is plenty of water in the tank and i get plenty of pressure at the Head lights. Is there a separate pump for the head lights? Any ideas gents? Thanks

I had the same problem about a month ago. I took it to my local dealership and they said there was algae building up inside the washer bottle. They back flushed it and now it works fine.

just use bleach in the water reservoir. let it sit for a day or 2 then just keep pumping water thru the washer the algae should come out and you will see brownish or greenish water coming out from the washer.

blocked pump, very common. you need to remove the drivers wheel and inner gaurd to get to it....or just pay up to an hours labour at your local mechanic to have it done no biggie. I wouldnt be putting bleach near my car personally even if it does fix the blockage.

Common issue
Pull out the tank and clean it out, about an hour

had the same issue. Within the tank there is a small plastic/mesh cylinder filter that has accumulated algae. easy fix but you have to take off your wheel and plastic guard.
