Engine rattle noise

BMW e92 328i 2008 engine started rattling right after I got the Vanos Solenoid replaced by the dealership. I'm aware of the "normal" ticker / lifter noise the engine makes but this sounds like marbles shaking in a can. The rattle usually starts upon engine start up and in some cases during idle while on the road. The rattle stops 20 seconds into the video so you can hear the difference in sound. Showed BMW tech the video and he said that it's definitely not a normal engine sound. Have an appointment with them in two days and will report back with their findings.

Sounds like something's loose until it warms up. Like a piece of heat shield for instance. I don't think that's an internal engine noise. Try using a piece of tubing to your ear to try to isolate the source.
