Light weight tire 19"

Not sure how much of a variance there can be in tires, but I was wondering if there are descent tires that are also light weight?
Im looking to go with light weight wheels and might as well look into light weight tires.
Seeing if I can drop 12lbs off each corner

There is a huge weight difference in tires, just like wheels. Conti DWS and Michelin PSII's are very lightweight. If you go to Tirerack and look under the "specs" section for each tire the weights for each size are listed.

That's an ambitious yet worthy goal. Tell us about what you have already discovered through your research on the topic?

It's amazing how dramatic lighter wheel/tire combos help these machines in terms of 'feel.'

Ok heres my rear tires
http://tireswheelsdirect.com/product...=322&ts_id=677

Looks like they are only .8lbs more than Continental

I didn't pay 190 a piece for these Achilles I only paid 119 from some other tire website

And front tires aren't heavy either http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....roxes+T1+Sport

That'll be what mine weigh if I get these forgestars.
Then CF trunk and Braille battery and this will be a good deal lighter.
Already dropped 30 off front
