E90 N54 res delete

Hey guys, I'm going to install an n55 PE on my N54 E90. I will need to delete the resonator before the muffler and wanted opinions from those that have done it. Do I need an x-pipe or something to replace it? Can it be modified in any way to make it ineffective? How much can I expect to spend? Thanks fellers!

get the H pipe from the stock e92 exhaust..
