Brake Pad suggestions 335i

Looking for brake pad suggestions. I have a 2007 335i and wondering what is the best out there and what people have had the best luck with.

I use Cool Carbon pads and have been very happy with them. Low dust/noise and good performance.

Oem for street driving if you don't mind the dust. Everything else will lose some initial bite.

I had the Performance Friction Z-Rated Carbon Metallic Brake Pads that I bought from Bimmerworld on my old ZHP and loved them! Thinking of going with them on my new e92 as well.

I'm using the stoptech street performance pads. Better stopping powe, bite, and less dust vs stock. They're also pretty affordable!

How long have you been using these? Do they look like they'll hold up long term?

The newer factory pads dust much less. They dust less than my CC pads.

I agree. the pads on my '11 vs. my '07 are night and day as far as dust goes. my wheels look great 3 weeks after a wash. A little less initial bite but all in all I don't see why I would want anything else for the street. Might be able to get more torque and less fade from aftermarket, but you'd get more dust. Its all give and take.

Another option are carbotech 1512's for less dust than OEM but excellent bite and modulation characteristics. More expensive than OEM though.

I run RacingBrake personally.

What are your priorities?

I have had tremendous experience with axis metal masters from turner bmw. My car is my dd, and sees about 15km miles a year plus some autoxross and track schools with the cca at watkins glen (wehre I am right now). After 15000 miles, a school (8 sessions on a fast track with lots of elivation) I replaced my pads today before driving up to the glen for the school. Fronts only... a waste of time money and effort, other than the fact that I had my rotors turned at the same time. The pads I took off have over 2/3 their original meat. Kept the old ones as spares.
There is not one downside... lots of response on the street, low dust and durable at the track. Cool carbons are similar, and a lot more money.

CC pads are very low dust and with now an upgraded formula. They are a hard to beat in the performance category for daily driving, aggressive street and light track.

Really enjoying akebono euro pads with Zimmerman coated rotors. One of my favorite upgrades.
