So i bought a 325i last December, coded the things I wanted, then last weekend traded it in and got an 07 335i. So the first thing I want to do is get my lovely digital speedometer back. I coded a few other things as well like the close windows with key fob, seat belt chime and a few others. Then my tachs stop working and I get the red car on lift, DONT SHOOT YET! I did some searching and have spent the last few hours trying different configurations to try and get everything updated so it will code right and i am at the point where I'm not sure what to do next? I'm running a XP VM on my 64 bit windows 8 Laptop. I I've tried using standards tools 2.12, not sure what I'm doing wrong and any help would be appreciated!

I searched and found out that I needed to update, the problem was that I couldn't figure out what to use. For example, I would get one of the programs working, and then because I made changes to that program, one of the other programs wouldn't work with it and it was just a continuous chain reaction, but I got everything working now. Thanks for the reply.
