Brake Options for E92 328i Coupe?
Hi,
The stock brakes on the E92 328i Coupe are visually pretty ... minimalistic, so I'd like to change them to something nicer. (Performance is not a concern, since it's just a 328.) I know that the BMW Performance Brake Kit, as well as the 1-Series M Sport brake kit (identical, just with black instead of Phoenix Yellow calipers) only work on the front axle of the E92 328i without mods, mostly because of the parking brake shoe size (160mm instead of 185mm). I'd go for the 1-Series M Sport brake kit for the front, but I'd be interested to hear what some of you E92 328i owners have done with your rear brakes. Definitely no caliper covers, and painting them black (or even gray/silver) still seems a little off. But having nice calipers in the front and the stock ones in the rear doesn't sound right either. Any ideas, short of getting an expensive BBK? |
